Closet Backyardigan Fan

Okay...it's time I've outted myself - I am a......CLOSET BACKYARDIGAN FAN! Sigh. My husband often shakes his head when he finds me (alone) watching this show and enjoying it. Yes,...it started innocently - my daughter enjoys it too! So I had an excuse at one time. But well...she's not always around when it's on, so I have to brave the ridicule and watch it alone. Who else is a closet backyardigan fan? It's time you owned up and just enjoyed it in the open!

Rainbows and Balloons

Well Michaels Arts & Crafts had a "Free Fun Family Event" today - and I have to say, it's true to the title - it's Free - it's Fun - and there were a lot of Family-like things to do with your kids.

My daughter, who's 3 and a half years old had a blast getting her face painted and doing the crafts, although her absolute favourite part was definitely the bubble blowers outside where we spent about 35 minutes in the rain playing. It was a great time.
